Graham Wallington, founder of AfriCam.com and WildEarth.tv, pioneered remote monitoring of wilderness locations through cutting-edge technology. These hugely popular platforms brought nature into millions of homes, fostering empathy and connection to the natural world. In 2018, Graham pushed boundaries further, introducing drone-based thermal imaging to track leopards and lions during nighttime episodes of safari LIVE on National Geographic. It was then he realized the future of tracking lay in robotics and Artificial Intelligence.

At a conservation conference years later, Graham met Dr. David Gaynor, a wildlife biologist with a deep commitment to protecting ecosystems. David, had been collaborating with Prof. Michael Inggs, an expert in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) systems, to apply radar to detecting wire-snares in protected areas. Their early experiments hinted at a transformative solution to a pervasive threat.

In 2024, Xeroth AI was founded to develop and deploy Airborne SAR systems capable of detecting and mapping wire-snares at scale. By harnessing AI, robotics, and advanced radar technology, the team aims to support anti-poaching teams in protected areas to turn the tide against this inhumane crime."
